Kimi Raikkonen For James Bond

Kimi Raikkonen for James Bond - the Finnish driver races the Alfa Romeo 158 at the 2019 British Grand Prix
Kimi Raikkonen is a better candidate for the role of James Bond than every other driver on the grid. Could Jean-Eric Vergne be the answer to Red Bull Racing’s Pierre Gasly-headache? All this and more in this episode!

Kimi Raikkonen – is there a better candidate in the Formula 1 paddock to play the role of James Bond? No, sorry, Lewis Hamilton loses out too. Raikkonen is a hit (BIG!) with the ladies and is quick on both, two and four wheelers. And of course, you would have seen him jumping around pipes in his social media posts. Jokes aside, it is high time Sebastian Vettel stops playing the role of the villain who spins or crashes out other drivers.

In this week’s episode of the Inside Line F1 Podcast, we point out the irony in Nico Rosberg’s advice to Kimi Raikkonen, applaud Renault’s honest admittance of ignoring Nico Hulkenberg, wonder if Lewis Hamilton will collect the Constructors’ trophy next race and if there’s a nexus between former Formula 1 drivers to further ruin the sport’s tyres for 2020. Tune in!

(Season 2019, Episode 28)

Here’s what’s in store for you in this episode:

0:00-3:00: Why Kimi Raikkonen wins the mandate to be the next James Bond. Sorry, Lewis!

3:00-6:00: The irony of Nico Rosberg’s advice to Kimi Raikkonen. Also, did Ferrari fire the wrong driver last year? Happy Anniversary, Seb.

6:00-9:00: The Formula 1 tyre conspiracy deepens further. First Marcus Ericsson, then Sebastian Buemi.

9:00-12:00: Lewis Hamilton to collect the Constructors’ trophy at the next race? He’s doing much more for Ferrari than just racing! Also, why Eddie Jordan is to be believed when he talks about Mclaren and Mercedes

12:00-15:00: Yes for ground effects, but no for re-fuelling. Which driver has spun and / or crashed the most in the last 12 months? 😉 Could Jean-Eric Vergne be the solution to the Pierre Gasly-headache for Red Bull Racing?

15:00-18:00: Romain Grosjean could be the reason Nico Hulkenberg saves his seat at Renault for 2020? Moments in Time with Lucien
