THE INSIDE LINE F1 PODCAST IS HOSTED BY MITHILA MEHTA AND KUNAL SHAH. THIS FORMULA ONE PODCAST OFFERS A UNIQUE HUMOUROUS VIEW ON THE SPORT.
On this ‘engine vs. aero’ debate, we’re reminded of Enzo Ferrari’s famous quote ‘aerodynamics are for people who can’t build engines’ and this does seem true for Red Bull Racing – who have publicly declared that they’ll be fighting for wins only in the second half of 2017! Sigh! (yet again!) (Help, Red Bull Needs Energy)

In this week’s episode of the Inside Line F1 Podcast, we discuss the Renault-Magnussen-Haas love-hate relationship, possible retirement options for Jolyon Palmer, Mclaren’s sponsor-friendly statements and even though we narrowly missed the Valtteri Bottas to Mercedes announcement, we still got it right in this episode. While Mercedes made the most of the positive PR around their second cockpit, they do need lessons on how to maintain suspense! (2017 Inside Line F1 Podcast Awards)
Also, we research further and reveal why the logical and sensible Ross Brawn isn’t able to make a comeback to the sport, just like his former Ferrari drivers Schumacher and Massa have managed. Maybe, his sensibility is too much for the sport to handle. He cited that Formula 1 would need to choose between ‘electric power’ and ‘electric noise’ in the future and we tell you what we’d prefer and most importantly which direction the sport could choose.
