Interesting F1 Statistics From The 2011 European Grand Prix

– Red Bull Racing kept their 100% pole position record intact with Sebastian Vettel (7) and Mark Webber (1)

– Red Bull registered their 21^st win and 28^th pole position in the European GP

– Sebastian Vettel score his 16^th GP win. His race win percentage is now 22.8% and 27^th podium with podium finish percentage of 38.6%

– Vettel’s pole was the 22^nd of his F1 career; 7^th of the 2011 F1 season

– It was 315^th race start for Rubens Barrichello with 68 podiums, 11 race wins and 14 pole positions. He has scored 4 points this season, but is yet to make it to Q3 in qualifying

– Narain Karthikeyan had his 27^th GP start. He started 24th on the grid and finished 24th as well – creating a record of sorts. (Read: )

– Michael Schumacher registered his 277^th start in Valencia. His 17^th place  (excluding 2 retirements) finish was the worst of this season

– Mark Webber’s 3^rd place was the 24^th podium of his career, 4^th of the current season, with podium finish percentage of 14.4%

– Jenson Button had his 199^th race start in Valencia. He started and finished 6th in the race

– Fernando Alonso’s podium finish was the 66^th of his career and 3^rd of the season. His podium finish percentage stands at 39.5%. He is yet to clinch pole and victory this season

– Felipe Massa, who finished 5^th in Valenca, matched his best result from the 2011 Malaysian GP. Massa is yet to score a podium finish and pole position this season. His podium finish percentage decreased to 23.2%

– Adrian Sutil’s 3^rd points finish of the season after starting 10^th on the grid, his best grid position in the 2011 season yet
